Just in case you have wondered, never fear with God’s Abundant Grace Neema Village will continue!
Fortunately Michael had the foresight to install new directors for Neema Village a number of years ago. Kim White and Kelle Samsill have been directing Neema for a long time now. Neither one of them accept a salary or payment of any kind for long, hard, challenging hours of work, away from their families. Please pray strength and courage for them!

Kim, back at Neema Village pictured above with three little ones who got to fly the nest a few weeks ago. Praise God, Gina, Tumaini and Baraka all have new homes today. Please pray for these little ones as they leave Neema Village, that they will be loved and cared for and not forget the stories they learned at Neema about how much Jesus loves them.

As she leaves for a much deserved break a Huge Thank You goes to Kelle Samsill for directing Neema for the last few months. Kim and Kelle do such a great job directing the seven busy programs of Neema. Rescuing Babies, MAP mothers against poverty, Save The Mothers the midwifery program, GIFT girls informed for tomorrow, Water Wells, the Rehabiltation Center for Handicap babies, and the Soccer program are bringing people to Christ almost every week.

NV is a large campus now and keeps the107 full time Tanzanian staff busy feeding babies, washing diapers, cleaning, gardening, milking and keeping safe everyone who comes on our campus.
Kim says we have been stretched to the limit this year with over 80 babies on campus some months. A lot of new babies have come in since January and I am a bit behind in posting.

We pray this beautiful girl gets her forever family soon. Sweet baby, Doricus came to Neema after being abandoned by her mother. She was born November 10, 2025. The mother left her with her elderly neighbor, saying she was going to look for work but she never came back. We will love this sweet girl until her forever family comes. Please consider sponsoring one of the Neema babies.
Email Hayden at sponsorship@neemavillage.org to find out more. Thank you!

Two precious babies arrived at Neema Village on the same day.
Little Caden was born at just 30 weeks. His mother believed he was too tiny to survive, so she left the hospital and never returned. After spending his first month in NICU, the hospital called and asked if Neema Village would care for him. Caden arrived weighing only 3½ pounds. Our Nannies began kangarooing and feeding him every two hours, giving him the love and care he needs to grow stronger. We continue to pray that his mama will come back looking for him and that, if she does, she will find hope and help at Neema Village thru our women’s programs.

July 2026- Sophia, nicknamed Sophie by the staff is a Maasai baby. Her mother tragically passed away from a hemorrhage shortly after giving birth. Sophie’s uncle and both of her grandmothers brought her to Neema Village. She is healthy at 5½ pound and absolutely beautiful. Hopefully by age 2 she will be able to return to her village. Because of lack of medical care, clean water and formula many babies from remote villages are not able to survive when they lose their mothers. Dr. Sarun is giving Sophia a good entrance check up.

Little Mamusi’s young mother died while giving birth in a remote Maasai village. His family tried to get the mother to a clinic, but the nearest clinic was too far away.
Mamusi’s story reminds us why we are working so hard to expand our Save the Mothers program into areas like this one.
The name Mamusi means “I have waited a long time.” What a meaningful name for this precious little boy.
Thankfully, Mamusi has a loving Bibi (grandmother) who plans to take him home when he is older. Until then, we have made her a promise: we will love him, care for him, and make sure he knows he is a child of God.
There are so many other stories we need to tell you but another day and another blog.
May God Bless you and keep you and give you peace.
